Great stay once again in this beautiful hotel. Room was nice and clean with renovated bathroom. Hotel has great amenities and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Check in was quick and all staff were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the Right whale pub that is part of the hotel. They served typical pub food, my hamburger was tasty, fries were fresh, and beer was cold. 😁 In the morning complementary coffee and tea were served in the beautiful relaxing lobby. We will definitely be back.

This is without a doubt the most posh hotel in NB. It's very elegant and provides the service of a 5* hotel and has the activities of a resort. However, our room was not well maintained. Many electric outlets were impossible to use, they were wonky and loose. One if the pillowcases hadn't been changed. In a hotel where the ambition is so high, even the broom closets should be impeccable. It advertised as dog friendly but a 50$ charge is added for the dog. Might I suggest providing at least a few dog enabled rooms for that price? They could have dog beds/treats or at least a bowl for water at that price. The other unpleasant surprise was a resort fee that remained hidden until check out. The price of the room was already well above all other hotels in NB, and making that fee a hidden charge is unacceptable. If you need to charge more, show it in the booking price.

Very nice hotel. Nice staff. Great restaurants in the area. Great golf course. Shame that there is no break on price for guests.

The Algonquin Hotel and surrounding property are lovely. The amenities really make for a special stay as does the staff who to a person, were warm, welcoming and interested in ensuring every need of the guests was addressed. We enjoyed the 'common areas" and the excellent restaurants. The breakfast was delicious. However, the room needed updating in every way although the bathroom had already been done. The heat / ac was broken in the room and while they attempted to repair it immediately, that was not possible. A space heater was provided but burnt out after the 10 minutes it was first in use. The furniture was old and scratched, the rug was stained and the fact that it was alongside the roadway wasn't great either. All in all, a great hotel as long as you overlook those items.

Good stay. Located in the older wing. Room and bathroom were updated. Smallish room but to be expected from older CP Hotel. Breakfast buffet excellent.

The Chef was excellent he came out to check on everyone. Adrian our waiter provided terrific service. The meal was wonderful.

Our stay wasn't perfect, therefore i cant necessarily give it an Excellent rating. However, the atmosphere, the rooms, dining options, and especially the Staff members were outstanding. Everytime I passed by a staff they always asked how my day was going or a simple greeting and it was very lovely. The waiters & waitresses were so kind and patient. The ghost tour is phenomenal. Ethan, the tour guide for that day, was so charismatic and an incredible story teller. He had our whole group captivated for the 30 minutes. I loved the Adult Swim option they offered at 10pm-11pm. The food was phenomenal from the Pub downstairs to the buffet breakfast they offer. All of it was delicious! The downsides to the stay was I found a previous guests earring bud in the sheets of the bed. I also noticed there was some black stains on the white blankets we had. There was no body wash remaining in the bottle hanging in the shower. Our biggest complaint was the lack of sound proofing. We heard every conversation outside of our room, guests footsteps as well. Overall it was a fantastic stay, and I took the time to write this review for the simple fact that it was amazing, there was just some minor things that created minor inconveniences. The resort itself is gorgeous. The sheer size of it towers over all of Saint Andrews and it is magnificent. Definitely would recommend to families and couples! 4.5 Stars!
